UPDATE: "My Boy Jack" - International Distribution - Granada International

There is an article on C 21 Media that stated that Granada International (GI) has picked up distribution rights for the film My Boy Jack.

"Granada International (GI) has picked up distribution rights to a one-off drama about Rudyard Kipling's son's efforts to become a soldier during the First World War, starring Daniel Radcliffe in his first major post-Harry Potter TV role.

My Boy Jack (1x95'), from UK indie Ecosse Films, was originally commissioned by ITV1 and sees Radcliffe starring alongside Sex and the City actress Kim Cattrall.

Based on a true story, the film tells of Jack Kipling's struggle to get into the British Army and his parents' subsequent search for him when we succeeded and was reported as missing in action.

'It is both an intense family drama and also an epic story of war which, although set in the First World War, holds a strong contemporary resonance with the current situations in Iraq and Afghanistan,' said Ecosse MD Douglas Rae."

Granada International is one of the largest and most successful commercial television distributors in Europe. Granada is the largest commercial TV producer in the UK, creating over 3,500 hours of original programming each year across all genres except news.
