Hilary Duff: Why I Lucked Out With My New Boyfriend
It's a good thing Hilary Duff is happy with her boyfriend -- hockey star Mike Comrie -- because she is not good at being single."I'm the worst dater!" Duff tells Usmagazine.com. "I never really dated. I've been lucky to meet great people and be like, 'Okay, let's go. Let's do this.'"
See photos of the sexiest single stars.
Although she admits that she first liked Comrie for his looks, she asserts that there's more to their relationship than physical attraction.
"I think first attraction to someone, you're kind of like, 'Oh he's cute,' you know?" she says. "But he's a great guy. I've never met anyone who could say a bad word about him. He's generous, caring, funny. We just laugh our heads off, which I need in my life."
Check out some of Hollywood's most romantic couples.
She says that he makes her melt on a daily basis, adding: "He's unique. I wouldn't want to be with someone who wasn't unique."
The star says things "are good" with her boyfriend even though he was just traded from the New York Islanders to a team in Canada.
Find out who's in charge among these celeb pairings.
"New York, Ottawa -- a little bit of a change," she told Us at the 13th Annual Power of Love Gala in the Ballagio in Las Vegas on Saturday. "But it's really good for him. They're a great team."
She says she has already planned trips to visit him in Ottawa.
"I'm like the crazy hockey lady sitting in the crowd, screaming my head off," she tells Us.

Bonnie & Clyde News
While the majority of the film will be shot in Louisiana and Mississippi, Holly hopes to film some scenes in north Alabama. That goal will be made easier by the state Legislature’s recent passage of incentives for filmmakers, a cause Holly has championed since founding the Alabama Filmmakers Association in 1991.Others signed to star in the film are Richard Tyson as Bob Alcorn; Rance Howard (father of Ron who recently appeared in “Frost/Nixon”) as Clyde’s father Henry Barrow; David Fralick as Big Ed Crowder; and Natalie Canerday as Mrs. Methvin.
Parts still to be cast include those of Blanche and Buck Barrow; Bonnie’s mother, Emma; Clyde’s mother, Cumie; and Ralph Fults. Holly is in negotiations with a popular young actor to play Fults but cannot make an announcement until he is signed, she said.
“Hopefully I’ll be making some announcements soon,” she said.
Holly is writer, producer and director of the film. She emphasizes that “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde” is not a remake of the 1967 film starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, but her own version of the story of the doomed couple.
She hopes to begin filming April 14 in St. Francisville, La., then move to Alexandria, Norwood and Jackson, La., she said, depending on actors’ schedules.

What Makes Hilary Duff Scream? Hockey!
Hilary Duff has become quite the hockey fan, and she's not ashamed to admit it."I'm the crazy lady sitting in the crowd screaming my head off," Duff, 21, said while attending the Keep Memory Alive's Power of Love gala in Las Vegas, aimed at finding a cure for memory disorders.
The reason for her love of hockey: her beau, Ottawa Senators player Mike Comrie, 28, who's led her to what she's called an obsession with the game.
"I've never met anyone who can say a bad word about him," she gushed about Comrie. "He's generous, caring and sunny. We just laugh our heads off."
While Duff has managed to find someone for herself, she says she doesn't have the first clue when it comes to dishing out dating advice for others.
"I'm the worst dater," said Duff, who previously had a relationship with Joel Madden. "I haven't really dated. I've been lucky enough to meet great people."
