MTV Movie Awards

It's been building up all day, I've been buzzing with excitement.

So Kristen and some of her Eclipse co stars attended the Movie Awards and boy was Twitter buzzing, i could barely keep up. First off i want to say congratulations to Kristen and co for all the awards they won, we knew they would do it. Kristen arrived later on compared to some of her Twilight co stars and chose to skip the red carpet and interviews and just take some pictures before going in. I want to say i am proud she held her head up high after the recent controversy surrounding her comments. It takes a brave girl to keep fighting on when the press are constantly feeding off you this is why i am a fan of this woman, she battles on when time gets tough.

Now onto the outfit.

WOW.

This is NOT i repeat NOT what i was expecting. I love that Kristen continues to surprise us. I loved the hair extensions, they looked so bouncy and flawless.

Kristen wore a Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2010 Collection Tweed and Metallic Brocade Mini Dress.She looked fantastic, it was mature yet short and sexy. I just loved it. The shoes were the only part of the outfit i was not happy with because i felt they didn't compliment the grays and gold in the outfit. The shoes in question are Vicini Cross Strapped Pumps. Thank you to cortni from coolspotters for sending me the link to the shoe default, much appreciated. To top the whole thing off and bring the badass Kristen wore a 4 fingered Jessica Robinson Infinity Ring. Her fantastic blue nail polish is by Chanel and i've included a default. This polish is priced around $25.

Kristen at the NYC MET Ball

So ever since Kristen left Vancouver for NYC people have been buzzing, her attendance to the MET ball was confirmed on Saturday. The whole aura and build up of the ball has been very exciting, this is a big deal people! Marchesa were hinting they may be the ones to dress Kristen, everyone wanted her and who got her? CHANEL. Karl Lagerfeld does not dress any old Hollywood riff raff and when he declares you worthy to wear his couture line AND handpicks your dress you sure as hell do not argue.

Lets talk about the MET fashion as a whole, never have i been so disappointed by the fashion choices. This is an event where you can pull out all the stops and so many celebrities failed, in fact so much of the fashion was similar and boring. There was alot of golds/silvers/whites and lots of plain silhouettes. I wanted more colour and fashion forward designs. Thats my overall view on the red carpet i actually struggle to say anyone who stood out for me.

Now onto Kristen this is a look you will either love or hate. (psst I did predict a gothic look)

Kristen wears a Chanel long black taffeta and tulle embroidered gown. Lets look at the gown there are several things i like about it and several things i do not. Remember this is only my personal opinion, the comment box below is all for you guys.....be honest. First thing is first the top taffeta part of the dress is rockin, i love how she was different from the other celebs and went for a structured top. The bodice gave her curves which is difficult to do on a skinny girl. This is the positive now the negative. The train....... i do not like one bit. Yes i like the sheer idea, its youthful and sexy but i hate how the front stops at her feet, it doesn't do her legs justice. But i will say this, the dress stood out.....and was probably one of the only ones to do so all night plus it looked better in motion and from the back. Her hair is another matter and this may be one of the elements of this look that brings the whole outfit down. You have a girl with a tiny body so do not slick her hair back like that, it does not work. The hair would have looked better swept up or down and slightly wavy. As for the make up..........flawless.

Her shoes are Sergio Rossi in fact you will recognise them because she has worn this style of shoe several times in the last few months. What can i say? You can never go wrong with those pumps they are sky high and compliment those legs for days. Love them. Let me tell you one thing, i girlcrush hard on Chanel quilted handbags i mean i love quilting in general it goes with almost anything and is a timeless classic. Here Kristen carries a small Chanel black box quilted clutch. There's not much to say other than i love it. Her ring is also by Chanel, it is part of their fine jewellery line and is vintage.

I do like the look, it was a step in the right direction but i think the hair all in all tainted the whole look. But not a bad attempt for the fierce ones first MET ball. What do you think?

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Mexico Press Conference

On November 2nd 2009 Kristen attended a press conference with Taylor for New Moon promotion. This is a smaller look there wasn't much detail here to note. I've added a little note at the bottom of the post for readers. I literally have no idea why i haven't covered this look already i thought i had originally posted this back when i started the blog.

Here Kristen wears trousers from the Phi Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. I was mixed on these trousers i think they would have looked better with a heel since they are quite dramatic with the small cut out sections. She wore this Kova & T Audrey Blazer several times through out New Moon Promotion i think it smartens this look up quite nicely and compliments the updo hair. She kept the top simple with a basic black vest which i think was a wise choice since her trousers are the main focus in this outfit, you don't want to 'over do' your look. Shoes wise she wore black Vans authentic sneakers and to top the whole look off she accessorised with her black Chanel Camélia ring.

NOTE
So i just wanted to write a little note to inform you guys of a few things regarding posting. As of next week i am literally snowed under with work for around 4 weeks, i'll still be updating but mainly at the weekends. If there are any Kristen sightings you will have to be patient with me i will put them up as soon as i can i promise it just may take a while longer. This is the time of year i get ridiculously busy but after a few weeks i'll be back to regular posting. The Runaways Press Conference

Kristen appeared this morning for a 'Runaways' press conference. She looked fabulous in a black Herve Leroux pencil dress. She previously wore a Herve Leroux gown to the Japan premiere of 'Twilight'. No default for this dress yet, there are similar designs on the Herve Leroux website (link provided) and i have posted similar designs on my on my Twitter account.

As for accessories well we see the usual appearance of our favourite rings. Here we see the Antique 'Little Red Riding Hood' Spoon Ring, her Chanel Camélia J2940 Onyx Rose with Diamonds Ring and her Clover Two-Tone Ring. She also had on her favourite Seiko watch. Pictures later surfaced of her shoes, the Jimmy Choo Quiet Peep Toes she also wore to the Runaways L.A premiere. I was a little disappointed at this shoe choice as i was hoping to see some shoes we haven't seen before but the shoes go nicely with the dress.
