The father of Hilary Duff and older sister Haylie has been ordered to spend 10 days in jail for violating an injunction against selling assets without court approval.Hil’s mother, Susan Duff, also wanted her ex, Bob, to contribute $25,000 to a birthday party and gift for the Duffster. A judge ruled that Bob has to pony up $12,500 for the bash. (This is all part of the ongoing two-and-a-half-year divorce battle the two have been going through.)
Susan also claims Hilary is “emotionally upset by the abandonment of her father” and deserves “to have some kind of recognition for a young life well-lived.”
