Aussie Films Enjoy Bumper Year

2006 was a good year for Aussie films, they made $40 million at the box office compare to last year earnings which was $23.1 million, still they haven’t surpass the record set in 2000, when local movies made $54.2 million.
Some of the films that made 2006 a success were Happy Feet, Kenny, Jindabyne, Ten Canoes, Kokoda and Boytown.
Films that are most likely to do well this year including December Boys (Starring Daniel Radcliffe), Hey Hey, Its Esther Blueburger (Starring Toni Collette), Romulus, My Father (Starring Eric Bana), Wolf Creek and Rogue.
