Bahamas :-), New Projects, and Gloomy! [ 1/30/2009 ]
Hope you all had a great New Years, what did everyone do? ...Mike & I were in Arizona to ring in 2009:) Our recent Bahamas trip was amazing! We had so much fun relaxing on the beach and swimming with dolphins! I was kinda disappointed that pics got out of our vacation, but they were cute, right? Right now I am back at home to film an episode of Ghost Whisperer. Yesterday was my first day on set and everyone was super nice. You guys should check it out when it airs April 10. As you probably already heard, Kevin Zegers and I will be doing a new take on the Bonnie & Clyde story, which is an accurate account of their personal lives. Hopefully we will start shooting that this Spring. I mentioned last time that my house was being remodeled...well, it is still in full effect and slowly but surely being put back together. On a sad note...my little Gloomy hurt himself last week so I have been spending time with him, nursing him back to health. I added a little pic to share with you.

Espero que todos vocês tenham tido um ótimo Ano Novo, o que vocês fizeram?...Mike e eu estivemos no Arizona para a nossa recente viagem a Bahamas que foi maravilhosa! Nós nos divertimos muito relaxando na praia e nadando com os golfinhos! Eu fiquei um pouco desapontada pelas fotos da nossa viagem terem saido, mas elas não são fofas? Agora eu estou de volta em casa para filmar um episódio de Ghost Whisperer. Ontem foi meu primeiro dia no set e todos foram super legais. Vocês deveriam assistir quando for ao ar no dia 10 de Abril. Como vocês provavelmente leram, Kevin Zegers e eu iremos fazer um remake da história de Bonnie & Clyde, que é sobre a vida pessoal deles. Esperamos começar a filmar nesta Primavera. Eu mencionei na última vez, que a minha casa estava sendo reformada...bem, está em grande efeito e lento, mas seguramente acabará logo. Uma coisa triste...meu pequeno Gloomy se machucou semana passada então eu tenho que passar um tempo com ele, cuidando dele até ele ficar bem da saúde. Eu adicionei uma pequena foto para compartilhar com vocês.
Espero que todos tenham uma ótima semana...

Lizzie McGuire is going gangster.
Former Friend of Mickey Hilary Duff is set to play one half of notorious bank-robbing duo Bonnie and Clyde in a new indie film.
Unlike the classic 1967 flick starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway, the new take, titled The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, will focus less on the former's largely fictionalized shoot-'em-ups and more on the actual lives of the Depression-era bandits. Kevin Zegers (The Jane Austen Book Club, Transamerica) will play Duff's partner in crime.
Duff will shoot the flick in her downtime from her new NBC series, Barely Legal.
Meanwhile, in other action on the casting couch…
Minnie Driver is partnering with Hilary Swank for Betty Anne Waters, based on a true story about an unemployed single mother (Swank) who, convinced her brother's been wrongly convicted, earns a law degree to try to free him. Driver plays Swank's law school friend who helps her on the case.
Per Variety, Brendan Fraser is about to lend his mug to yet another live-action family comedy. Fury Vengeance finds the George of the Jungle thesp playing a real-estate developer whose new housing subdivision encroaches on some angry critters in the pristine Oregon wilderness. Shooting starts this summer.
Jennifer Beals is set to costar with Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis in The Book of Eli. Helmed by Albert and Allen Hughes, the thriller follows a Mad Max-type loner who battles his way across a futuristic American wasteland to protect a book that may hold the secret to saving humankind. Beals will play Kunis' mother, a blind woman willing to go to extremes to protect her daughter.
Flavor Flav sealing a deal to turn his BET Halloween-themed flick, Nite Tales, into an anthology series. The rapper-turned-reality star will serve as the host of each 30-minute episode, described as Tales From the Crypt meets The Twilight Zone.
Dallas Cowboys' star wide receiver, Terrell Owens, getting his own reality series on VH1 that is set to debut this summer. The news comes a week after his former teammate, Michael Irvin, announced the launch of his own football-themed reality competition for Spike TV that's sort of an NFL version of Survivor premiering this spring.

Hilary Duff Brings Mystery to 'Ghost Whisperer'
Hilary Duff is quickly filling up her acting resume.The pop singer will guest star on an episode of the CBS supernatural drama "Ghost Whisperer" to air on Friday, April 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the network announced Tuesday.
On the show, Duff will play the "beautiful woman of mystery" Morgan Jeffries, who may or may not be involved in the tragic death of a man who fell victim -- literally -- to a freak accident.
Duff signed a talent deal with NBC in November and will star in the upcoming show "Barely Legal," about an 18-year-old who becomes California's youngest attorney. She's also in talks to costar in a big screen retelling of the Bonnie Parker and Clyde Darrow story.
Her previous credits include "Lizzie McGuire" and guest spots on "Joan of Arcadia" and "Frasier," while her movie resume boasts the likes of "A Cinderella Story," "Cheaper by the Dozen" and "Material Girls" with her sister Haylie Duff.
