Hilary Duff spotted in Harlem acting 'trashy and rebellious'
Hilary Duff has been spotted acting out and about in the streets of Harlem. Earlier this morning (March 24) she was busy in the New York neighborhood filming her upcoming appearance on "Law & Order: SVU" in which she plays the character Ashlee Walker. Duff's character will portray a "rebellious, trashy, slutty, irresponsible young mother" who is suspected of murdering her baby. A long stretch from the more innocent characters Hilary typically plays.
Duff also recently played a small role which has been described as ’mysterious’ for the Jennifer Love Hewitt drama "Ghost Whisperer."
The guest appearances on both "Law & Order" and "Ghost Whisperer" were landed just months after it was announced that Duff will be returning to TV full-time in her new comedy, "Barely Legal."
“Barely Legal” is a product of Duff's production deal with NBC and is based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz, who passed the California bar exam in 2007 at age 18 to become the state's youngest lawyer.
